"There are not one hundred people in the United States who hate The Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they wrongly perceive the Catholic Church to be."

Christ, Catholicism, and Coffee

For my first blog I wanted to write about what I call the three C's. "Christ,""Catholicism," and "Coffee." Ever since I was little, I can always remember having a deep love for my Savior (thanks to my parents for always leading me towards Him and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, of course!). However, as I matured I always had a deep desire for my life to somehow, someway, whether big or small affect people and lead them closer to Christ. Only recently did Catholicism come into the picture. Now depending on who you ask some would say that Catholicism is not and should not be associated with Christ.  LET HIM BE ANATHEMA! ;) The Catholic Church, the Bride of Christ is the Church that Jesus Christ Himself established.
As St. Elizabeth Ann Seton said, "I will go peaceably and firmly to the Catholic Church: for if Faith is so important to our salvation, I will seek it where true Faith first began, seek it among those who received it from God Himself."

The Catholic Church has been around for 2000 years. No man-made church can survive that long unless She was established by God Himself with the Holy Spirit guiding Her along the way!

And finally, coffee. Coffee is one of my favorite beverages! Every coffee bean is a nugget of love. One of my favorite jokes to play on my husband is to tell him to brew the coffee. When he says "Why should I?" I always tell him...it's in the Bible. He-brews!

God Love You.
